BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. L. T. Wright, cotton trade union official and president of the Amalgamated Weavers’ Association, is 46, and was a member of Ashton-under-Lyne Borough Council for 12 years. He has visited the Continent with various missions and went to the United States in 1947 with the party which investigated time study methods of trade unions and employers in industry there. He was a member of the Royal Commission on the cotton industry.
