BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. R. Jamieson, born in 1907, was apprenticed to a family printing business, and after studying at Manchester School of Technology succeeded his father as managing director of the business. When only 16 he was assistant secretary of the Stretford Junior Imperial League and later held other offices. He is a member of Chapel-en-le-Frith Rural District Council.
