BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. W. N. Warbey, who is 46, has a long record of service in the Labour movement. Before the war he was tutor-organizer for the National Council of Labour Colleges. During the war he was chief English Press Officer to the Norwegian Government in London, and has since travelled extensively in Europe. He holds an honours degree at London University, where he studied languages and economics. In the last Parliament he frequently criticized Mr. Bevin’s foreign policy. He became M.P. for Luton in 1945.
