BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. C. Osborne, born in 1898, is a Leicestershire industrialist and chairman of a number of companies interested in the textile industry and in the grocery trade. He is an official of the ancient guild of Frame Knit Workers. He was elected to Parliament in 1945. Educated at University College, Oxford, he served with the Royal Artillery in France, Italy and Egypt in the 1914-18 war.
