Miss J. S. Pritchard, aged 22, decided to stand only 48 hours before nominations closed, and was actually nominated before she was adopted. A Liverpool insurance clerk, she is secretary of the Liberal Association in the Walton division of Liverpool. She helped to form the Young Liberals’ organization in Walton.
