BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. A. F. Lockwood, who was born in 1896, served four years in the Middlesex Regt., which he rejoined in August, 1939. He saw service in North Africa and in Europe, reaching the rank of major. He is a company secretary and a Freeman of the City of London. For 12 years he was a member of the Camberwell Borough Council, and is a former chairman of the Peckham Conservative Association.
