BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. G. Rogers, aged 44, has represented North Kensington from 1945, when he captured the seat from the Conservatives. From 1947 to 1949 he was Parliamentary private secretary to Mr. G. R. Strauss, Minister of Supply, a position he lost when in 1947 he voted?against the Government on the Ireland Bill. He has served on the Wembley Borough Council and was at one time chairman of the London group of Labour M.P.s. He is an industrial consultant with London Transport.
