Cmdr. A. F. Gray, a retired naval officer of 49, is a farmer at Wimblington, near March. By giving a false age, he saw four years’ service in the Navy in the first war, obtained his captain’s certificate when 25, and in the last war was a destroyer captain and senior officer commanding an Atlantic convoy escort group.
