BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. W. H. Watkinson, who contested Royton at the last election, was born in 1906, and has held many positions in the Manchester Liberal Federation. Prominent in the administrative side of the building trade, he was in charge of the Works and Buildings emergency organizations for the country during the war, and was responsible for much repair work in London after the rocket bomb damage.
