Mr. L. Cohen, a native of Hastings, was born in 1897, and is managing director of a building society in Brighton. He was elected to the town council in 1930. He is a former chairman of the Brighton and Hove I.L.P. and the Brighton and Hove Fabian Society. He farms at Hangleton, Sussex.
