Mr. M. Turner-samuels, K.C., Recorder of Halifax, was M.P. for Barnard Castle, 1923-24, and formerly sat on Newcastle – upon – Tyne City Council. He was High Sheriff for Gloucester, 1946-47, and is a writer on legal and political subjects. Born in lo90. He was elected M.P. for Gloucester in 1945.
