BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. J. C. Forman, an insurance agent, was born in 1884 and had a secondary school education. He was a member of Glasgow Town Council for 18 years until he became M.P. for Spring-burn in 1945. He is chairman of Glasgow Cooperative Conference Association and has been active in the Co-operative movement for 40 years.
