BIOGRAPHY :

Brig. H. R. Mackeson has been member for Hythe since 1945, and a Conservative whip since 1947. After leaving Sandhurst he was for 20 years wit? the Royal Scots Greys. He served in India and Egypt. He was G.S.O.I. from 1940-42, B.G.S., H.Q., R.A.C. in 1942, and finally commanded an armoured brigade. Born 44 years ago he farms at Barham, where he lives.
