BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. A. E. U. Maude, a financial journalist, was educated at Rugby and Oxford, and has been secretary of the University Conservative Association and on the committee of the Oxford Union. He served throughout the war in the R.A.S.C, and was a prisoner of war for 3J years. Since 1946 he has been a senior member of the P.E.P. research staff. He is a free lance writer on social and economic questions.
