BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. G. Drain, born in 1918, gained the Bryce Memorial Scholarship in History and the Watton Scholarship at London University and studied for the Bar. A staff captain in Persia and Iraq during the war he later joined the staff of the Institute of Hospital Administrators and engaged in the organization of the National Whitley Council for health service employees. He is secretary of the Central London Fabian Society.
