Mr. B. Nield, K.C., entered Parliament for Chester in 1940 at a by-election. He graduated from Oxford, was called to the Bar in 1925 and took silk after 1 the war, in which he served with the Judge Advocate’s Department at home and in the Middle East. Born in 1903, Mr. Nield is a bachelor.
