Mr. R. T. Howlett, born in 1893, has specialized in poultry farming for 30 years, and served many years as a parish councillor, rural district councillor, and county councillor. He is managing director and chairman of an egg packing station at Soham, and has been a member of the council of the Poultry Association of Great Britain since 1935.
