BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. T. Boyce, who was born in Worcestershire in 1882, was a schoolmaster in Liverpool and Blackburn. He worked for the Royal Navy in the war on research with smoke floats and depth charges. Later, ‘he was deputy director of education at Coventry and director at Middlesbrough, before his appointment to Bradford in a similar capacity in 1925. He is now retired.
