BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. A. C. Allen, born in 1887 and educated at elementary schools and Ruskin College, Oxford, to which he gained a T.U.C. scholarship, is an M official of the Union of Boot and Shoe Operatives. He has be?n chairman of Irthling-borough U.D.C., and was for many years on Northants County Council, of which he is an alderman. He holds a university diploma in economics and political science. His travels have included Russia, where hejiad an interview with Mr. Stalin.
