BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. A. E. Oram, who contested the Lewes Division in 1945, has a record of 16 years’ activity in the Labour and Co-operative movements in Reading and Brighton, and is a research officer of the Co-operative Party. Born in 1913, he graduated from the London School of Economics and worked as a teacher in Reading. During the war he served with the Royal Artillery.
