BIOGRAPHY :

Sir A. Comyns Carr, K.C., who was M.P. for East Islington, 1923-24, was British prosecutor at the Tokyo war guilt trials and recently prosecuted von Manstein. Born in 1882 and educated at Winchester and Trinity College, Oxford, he was called to the Bar by Gray’s Inn in 1908, and took silk in 1924. He is part author of books on national insurance, mining legislation, and world currency.
