BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. E. R. Handscombe is a Fulham builder who began life as a barrister’s clerk. Aged 48, he went to St. Martin’s High School, S.W. He was a member of the Labour Party until he joined the Liberals, and is chairman of a ward organization in Fulham. He is also chairman of the Fulham panel of builders and a member of the area committee of the Master Builders’ Federation.
