BIOGRAPHY :

Cmdr. J. J. G. Irving is a naval gunnery expert, Antarctic explorer, public speaker, and author. He served in the Royal Navy in both wars, and then until nationalization of the industry was public relations officer to the South Yorkshire coalowners. Since then he has written a survey of British industrial relations and has been principal lecturer to the British police force.
