BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. L. W. Robson is 45 and lives in the constituency at Middle Aston, where he farms 1,000 acres, and, in addition, is senior partner in a firm of accountants in London, Leeds, and Bradford, and of another firm of industrial advisers. He is a member of the Council of the Chartered Institute of Accountants, and is president-designate of the Institute of Costs and Works Accountants. He visited the United States last year as financial adviser to the Anglo-American Council on Productivity, and earlier acted in a similar capacity to Unrra and the International Refugee Organization.
