BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. G. Daggar, member for the division since 1929, received a board school education and started work at 12 as a miner. Later he went to the Central Labour College, and became a miners’ agent in 1921. He is now vice-chairman of the Parliamentary Labour Party and chairman of the Welsh Parliamentary Party.
