To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what recent progress has been made on the High Level Prosperity Partnership in Africa.

In 2013 we established high level prosperity partnerships with Angola, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Mozambique and Tanzania. They form the context within which the UK seeks to increase mutual prosperity and generate jobs.

The recent appointment of The Rt Hon Baroness Northover as trade envoy for Angola, my Honourable Friend, the Member for Windsor, as trade envoy for Ghana and my Honourable Friend, the Member for Newbury, as trade envoy for Mozambique will further enhance these partnerships.

Our commitment to these agreements is illustrated by regular high-level visits, totalling 14 in the last three years.

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how much expenditure was incurred by the Child Support Agency in making ex-gratia or special payments as a result of poor service or errors by that agency in each of the last three years.

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what proportion of disability living allowance claimants have received an NHS Continuing Healthcare assessment to date.

Information on whether claimants of Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment have received an NHS Continuing Healthcare assessment is not centrally recorded and could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, how many apprentices enrolled on a Level 7 (Master’s) apprenticeship for (a) 2015-16 and (b) 2016-17.

Information on Apprenticeship starts by level reported to date for 2015/16 is published as a supplementary table (first link) to a Statistical First Release (second link). There have currently been no starts reported to date at Level 7.

The first publication containing 2016/17 data will be published in January 2017.

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what estimate she has made of the number of sign language interpreters and electronic note takers registered with the Disabled Students Allowance Quality Assurance Group to provide support to deaf students from September 2016.

The Department is currently working with Disabled Students’ Allowances Quality Assurance Group to review the number of support workers that have registered to provide each support role funded through Disabled Students’ Allowances. Organisations and individuals are continuing to register to provide these roles, so final figures are not yet available. We will not be able to confirm these numbers until the first DSA QAG audit cycle is completed (which will include an audit of staff details), in December 2017.

The Student Loans Company will monitor any reports about the supply of non-medical support so as to identify whether there are any issues with their availability.

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what deadline Govia Thameslink Railway Ltd has been set to meet the terms of its Remedial Plan.

The Secretary of State has accepted Govia Thameslink Railway’s Remedial Plan that sets out the steps the operator is taking to improve their performance and it will shortly be published on the Government’s website. The plan covers the period to September 2018.
