    The Department has recently issued a range of guidance which will help clinicians to comply with the requirements of the Abortion Act, including their obligations with regard to the completion of HSA4 forms.

    Incorrectly filled in HSA4 forms are returned to the terminating practitioner by the Department of Health until such information is corrected. We are working with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to take forward their recommendations on tackling under-reporting of abortions for fetal abnormality.

HM Treasury policy is to ensure that its current space is used to maximum efficiency in line with the Civil Service Reform agenda before we would consider a move of staff or offices to Brighton, but we are grateful for his suggestion.

    The supply of LPG is subject to UK competition law under the Competition and Markets Authority.

    The study by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) into the off-grid energy market, published in October 2011, found that there is a generally positive initial impact of the Competition Commission (CC) Orders from 2009 to make it easier for consumers to switch Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) supplier.

    In April 2012, the OFT also secured voluntary agreements from the major LPG suppliers to make changes to their domestic bulk customer contracts and improve transparency around switching and cancellation rights. These changes apply for both individual tank and metered estate customers.

    The Competition and Markets Authority will continue to keep the Orders under review.

    We have been involved in negotiations on the Commission’s proposal to amend the General Circulation Directive (maximum weights and dimensions) since they commenced in January, in which we have supported the proposals to enable the introduction of more rounded front designs of HGV lorry cabs to increase fuel efficiency.

    Political agreement on the Presidency text was reached in the Transport Council on 5 June.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the oral Answer of 20 January 2014 from the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Planning, Official Report, column 7, on major developments (new schools), what scope there is for organisations other than local education authorities to be involved in the design, planning and sponsorship of new build primary and secondary schools in major new residential developments.

    Any group or organisation can apply to the Department for Education to set up a free school. If approved, the proposers and any group members are involved in all aspects of project planning and design of the school. 175 free schools, 17 UTCs and 28 studio schools have been opened by groups including existing schools, academy sponsors, parents, teachers and community groups. A number of these have been in major new residential developments.
