    Information on the number of children with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan by local authority in January 2015 based on the SEN2 return is available on GOV.UK in the Statistical First Release ‘Statements of SEN and EHC plans: England 2015’: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/statements-of-sen-and-ehc-plans-england-2015 (Table 3).

    This data is collected at local authority level and cannot be disaggregated to constituency level.

    Data for January 2016 will be published on 26 May 2016.

    HM Treasury is not conducting a feasibility study into future connections between UK and Chinese stock markets. The London Stock Exchange Group and the Shanghai Stock Exchange are carrying out a feasibility study on a stock market connection.

    HM Treasury continuously monitors global economic developments, including those in China, and their impact on the UK as part of the normal process of policy development.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many British servicemen and women are based on British military bases abroad.

    There are 9,360 British Service personnel permanently based on British military bases abroad. This figure includes those based in Cyprus, Gibraltar, the South Atlantic Islands, Diego Garcia, Germany, Canada, Kenya, Brunei, Nepal and Belize. This figure represents the number of Service personnel who are stationed at that location. It may differ from the actual number of people working on the base at the time, for example due to deployments. The breakdown of these figures into country and service is shown below; where countries have five or less personnel, these are rounded to zero and the country does not appear in the table. The Ministry of Defence regularly publishes the location figures for both military and civilian personnel, which can be accessed on the GOV.UK website at:

    To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment he has made of the effect of the fall in China’s foreign currency reserves on the UK economy.

    China’s foreign exchange reserves have fallen over the past year, down $582.5bn since the start of 2015. However, the stock of reserves still remains sizeable, standing at $3.23 trillion. The UK’s exports to China have increased by 85% since 2010 but are still only 5% of total UK trade.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 25 February 2016 to Question 26199, on flooding insurance, how much of the funding provided to support businesses has been allocated to (a) Lancashire and (b) Burnley and Padiham.

    To support local authorities impacted by Storms Desmond and Eva, the Department has provided Lancashire County Council with £4.3 million to date under the Community and Business Recovery Scheme. The Scheme has been designed to support local authorities across the country, such as Burnley, to develop and deliver their own locally tailored support packages for impacted businesses and communities. Burnley Borough Council has also received a further £56,070 for Business Rates relief to support flooded businesses.
