    The Department has received no representations from local authorities on prohibiting smoking on beaches. The Government has no current plans to extend smokefree legislation to open public areas.

    Fifteen per cent of the UK’s exports of goods and services in 2014 went to countries with which the EU has negotiated free trade agreements (FTAs). This includes FTAs that have been implemented and those where negotiations have been completed but are still awaiting ratification. It does not include UK exports to EEA countries or non-EU members of the Customs Union.

    I held a large number of meetings as part of the St David’s Day process. These included meetings with the parliamentary representatives of the four main political parties in Wales to identify which Silk Commission recommendations had political consensus to be taken forward. It was agreed that discussions at these meetings would remain confidential, and the Government has no plans to publish minutes.

    The Government takes the security of the energy sector very seriously and DECC works closely with industry, the police and the relevant agencies in order to make sure of a robust and proportionate security regime at energy sites across the UK.

    For reasons of national security it would not be appropriate to provide specific details about protective security programmes.

    The Wales Office continues to show its support for Wales to host the 2026 Commonwealth Games. I recently met with the Commonwealth Games Council for Wales and would welcome an opportunity to explore the details of a possible bid further with the new Welsh Government after the National Assembly Elections have taken place.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, what assessment he has made of whether Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty is revocable once invoked.

    We must leave in the way agreed in law by Britain and other member states, which means following the process set out in Article 50 of the Treaty on the European Union. There is no precedent for a country triggering Article 50, let alone seeking to reverse such a decision. A clear majority of the electorate voted to leave the EU and we will respect the will of the people of the United Kingdom.

    Defra has recently submitted detailed evidence required by the US authorities. My Right Honourable friend the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs was recently in Washington DC to raise the importance of this agreement. We continue to press for expeditious consideration of the UK application to allow exports of UK beef and lamb to commence as soon as possible.
