    Qatar was chosen because of its Government’s commitment to increase agricultural production over the coming years with the aim of becoming less reliant on imported food and more self-sufficient. This may offer important future opportunities for UK agri-tech organisations.

    For the manufacture phase of the Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft carrier project the Aircraft Carrier Alliance (ACA) was formed from BAE Systems Naval Ships (formerly BAE Systems Surface Ships), Babcock, Thales UK and the Ministry of Defence (MOD). The MOD is fully compliant with the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Private companies do not fall under the remit of the Freedom of Information Act. It is not appropriate for the Secretary of State for Defence to designate the ACA a public body.

    This information is not collected. In 2012-13, the National Health Service in England spent an estimated £630 million on HIV services, including treatment. Approximately 60,721 people in England received NHS HIV treatment and care services in 2012.

    As with all other costs associated with Directly Operated Railways (DOR), these are recovered through a combination of a management charge to their subsidiary (East Coast Main Line Company Ltd), charges to the performance bond which was secured from National Express following the early termination of their franchise in 2009 and fees charged to the Department for Transport for services in connection with the Rail Franchising (Direct Awards) programme.

    The total headcount in DOR for the years in question are set out in the table below.
